Over on my self help website I write an awful lot of quotes blogs because we all love to read quotes. All these quotes blogs are serious and heart warming but I've been dying to do a funny quotes blog and voila! Here it is. I decided to make this one on funny midlife crisis quotes.

What is a midlife crisis?

Before I give you the Google definition of what a midlife crisis is, let me give you Iva's definition.

To me, a midlife crisis is when you hit a certain age and you stop and look at the last 40-50 years of your life, wonder where the heck it went and what the hell you did with it and then plan on what the heck you're going to do with the next 40-50 years. You also are in denial of the fact that you are getting old, you have grey pubic hair and your skin is starting to sag and wrinkle, and you hate it all, and try to act 25 again.

So that's what I think it is but here's Google's definition of a midlife crisis:

Amidlife crisis is a transition of identity and self-confidence that can occur in middle-aged individuals, typically 45 to 65 years old. The phenomenon is described as a psychological crisis brought about by events that highlight a person's growing age, inevitable mortality, and possibly lack of accomplishments in life. This may produce feelings of intense depression, remorse, and high levels of anxiety, or the desire to achieve youthfulness or make drastic changes to their current lifestyle or feel the wish to change past decisions and events.
